Student Orientation Week - Macbook Laptop Giveaway (x4)

1. Information on how to enter this giveaway forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this giveaway is deemed to be in acceptance of these terms and conditions set out below ('Terms and Conditions').

2. The prize draw is being run by MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd ABN 56 058 271 417 AFS Licence Number 238073 ('MDA National Insurance') of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, Australia, phone 1800 011 255. MDA National Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDA National Limited ABN 67 055 801 771 (together MDA National).

3. Entry is open to first-year medical students studying in Australia who::

1. are MDA National Members; or
2. have applied for Membership with MDA National ('Eligible Entrant')

4. Entry is limited to one entry per Eligible Entrant.

5. The giveaway commences at 12.00am (AEST) on Monday, 6th January 2025 and ends at 23.59pm (AEST) Monday, 31st March 2025 (‘Promotion Period’).

6. The giveaway is not open to MDA National Staff or their families.

7. The prize will only be awarded to four Eligible Entrants.

8. The prize consists of four Macbook laptops, valued at $2,499 each ('prize').

9. The prizes will be drawn manually at: MDA National's Sydney office, Level 6/59, Christie Street, St Leonards NSW 2065.

10. There will be two draws, with two prize winners each, commencing in February 2025 and March 2025. The first draw for the first two prize winners will be on Tuesday 25th February 2025 at 10.00am (AEST) with the second draw for the final two winners, commencing on Tuesday 25th March 2025.

11. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be contacted by email within five (5) days of the draw date to arrange delivery of the prize. The winners will also be published on the MDA National website and social media channels.

12. The winner(s) will be given two (2) weeks to claim their prize. If in this time, their prize is not claimed then a redraw will take place at MDA National's Sydney office, Level 6/59, Christie Street, St Leonards NSW 2065 at 10.00am (AEST) on 11th March 2025 for the first draw and 10.00am (AEST) on 8th April 2025 for the second draw.

13. The new winner(s) will be notified by email and published on the MDA National website and social media channels.

14. The prize winner must, on request by MDA National Insurance, be able to provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of MDA National Insurance, demonstrates that the winner is an Eligible Entrant and have complied with these Terms and Conditions.

15. The prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner(s) is unable to use the prize as stated.

16. The prizes are not transferable to another person (unless agreed by MDA National Insurance) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash.

17. The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this giveaway, the promotion of this giveaway or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

18. MDA National is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or misdirected entry whether due to error or otherwise

19. Entry details remain the property of MDA National. The name of the winner will be used for promotional purposes by MDA National.

20. Eligible Entrants consent to MDA National Insurance using the contact details provided in connection with their MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes.

21. MDA National collects, uses and discloses personal information of entrants in accordance with its Privacy Policy for the purposes of conducting this giveaway.

22. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information by contacting MDA National on the number below.
