National Conferences Competition Grand Prize 2018

  1. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The competition is being run by the MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd (‘MDA National Insurance’)  ABN 56 058 271 417 of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, Australia, phone 1800 011 255. MDA National Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDA National Limited ABN 67 055 801 771 (together the ‘MDA National Group’).
  3. Entry is open to ‘Eligible Entrants’, all medical practitioners or practice managers who either complete our survey, update their details or request a quote at the MDA National stand during any of the conferences below:
      • Saturday 4 August 2018, HealthCert GP Update, Adelaide
      • Saturday 11 August 2018, HealthCert GP Update, Melbourne
      • Friday 17 August 2018, ANZCA Practice Managers Conference, Adelaide
      • Saturday 25 August 2018, HealthCert GP Update, Brisbane
      • Saturday 25 August 2018, ANZCA/ASA Tasmanian Winter Workshop, Tasmania
      • Saturday 25 August to Sunday 26 August 2018, Practice Owners National Conference, Melbourne
      • Saturday 8 September 2018, HealthCert GP Update, Perth
      • Saturday 15 September 2018, HealthCert GP Update, Sydney
      • Thursday 20 September to Sunday 23 September 2018, Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists (ASCD) Symposium, Melbourne

  4. The competition commences at 8.00am (AEST) on Saturday 4 August 2018 and ends at 5.00pm (AEST) on Wednesday 21 November 2018.
  5. There is one prize of a View Retreats Voucher valued at $3,000.
  6. The prize will be drawn at 1.00pm (AEST) on Friday 30 November 2018 at Level 3, 100 Dorcas Street, Southbank Vic 3006.
  7. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be contacted by email within five (5) days of the draw date to arrange delivery of their prize. The winner will also be published on mdanational.com.au.
  8. The prize winner must, on request by MDA National Insurance, be able to provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of MDA National Insurance, demonstrates that the winner is an Eligible Entrant and has complied with these Terms and Conditions.
  9. The winner will be given 3 months to claim their prize. If in this time the prize is not claimed then a redraw will take place at Level 3, 100 Dorcas Street, Southbank Vic 3006 at 1.00pm (AEST) on Friday 1 March, 2019 with the winner notified in writing and published on mdanational.com.au.
  10. The prize will be deemed unclaimed if MDA National’s reasonable attempts to contact the winner via email and telephone during normal work hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (AEST) are unsuccessful. Redraws will follow the same process until a successful claim is made.
  11. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed by MDA National Insurance) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash or other than as stated in the voucher.
  12. The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  13. The MDA National Group is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or misdirected entry whether due to error or otherwise.
  14. Entry details remain the property of MDA National Insurance. The name of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the MDA National Group, unless the winner otherwise notifies the MDA National Group at the time of accepting his/her prize. Eligible Entrants consent to MDA National Insurance using the contact details provided in connection with their MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes.
