Green with Envy Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The competition is being run by the MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd (‘MDA National Insurance’) ABN 56 058 271 417 of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, Australia, phone 1800 011 255. MDA National Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDA National Limited ABN 67 055 801 771 ('MDA National') (together the ‘MDA National Group’).
  3. Entry is open to Medical Students studying in Queensland who are members of MDA National and who successfully refer another Medical Student studying in Queensland to join MDA National (‘Eligible Entrant’) The competition commences at 08:00 AEST on 25/09/2018 and ends at 17:00 AEST on 01/10/2018.
  4. There is 1 prize of 2 Welch Allyn Stethoscopes valued at $200 each (One stethoscope each for the referrer and the referee).
  5. The prize will be drawn at 12:00pm AEST on 5/10/2018 at MDA National Brisbane office, 8/87 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, QLD, 4000.
  6. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be contacted by email within five (5) days of the draw date to arrange delivery of their prize. The winners will also be published on mdanational.com.au.
  7. The prize winners must, on request by MDA National Insurance, be able to provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of MDA National Insurance, demonstrates that the winners are both Eligible Entrants and have complied with these Terms and Conditions.
  8. The winners will be given 3 months to claim their prize. If in this time the prize is not claimed by at least one of the two prize winners then neither will be receive the prize and a redraw will take place at MDA National Brisbane Office, 8/87 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, QLD, 4000 at 12:00pm AEST on 05/01/2018 with the winners notified in writing and published on mdanational.com.au.
  9. The prize will be deemed unclaimed if MDA National’s reasonable attempts to contact the winners via email and telephone during normal work hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (AEST) are unsuccessful. Redraws will follow the same process until a successful claim is made.
  10. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winners are unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash.
  11. The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  12. The MDA National Group is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or misdirected entry whether due to error or otherwise or for the failure of the winner claiming the prize to pass on one of the stethoscopes to their fellow joint winner.
  13. Entry details remain the property of MDA National Insurance. The name of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the MDA National Group, unless the winner otherwise notifies the MDA National Group at the time of accepting his/her prize. Eligible Entrants consent to MDA National Insurance using the contact details provided in connection with their MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes.
