Open Disclosure: Practical steps for everyday clinicians
This practical 3.5 hr workshop and 1-hour online learning module examines the principles of Open Disclosure, its barriers and benefits, when to use it, and the medico-legal aspects of using Open Disclosure and giving an apology.
Through case studies and discussion, participants have the opportunity to analyse, practice and reflect on potential responses to open disclosure scenarios and consider ways in which to implement a successful Open Disclosure process in their workplace.
